NOSTALGIA.
Nostalgia is a state of mind, remembering something or someone in the past that brings joy and peace. It’s fun to look back and remember.
For a very long time. I isolated myself from the world, 25 years in fact. Finally one year about 3 years ago I decided to try to come out of my shell. It’s not easy you know for an introvert to do this, we force ourselves sometimes into situations that eventually are good for us, but it takes some courage and sometimes some foolishness too. This day I decided to start dating again after so long and needed a photo of myself. This is my very first selfie. I discovered then, that the best selfies are when you are acting silly and always smiling.(makes you look younger too) I remember taking dozens of photos on my computer and my dog, Hunter was not thrilled about being my partner in crime that day. I think you can tell by the skeptical look in his eyes. Well, let’s say dating online, hasn’t quite panned out the way I wanted, but I’m much more confident than I was back then and I’m getting much more comfortable with taking selfies.
