Now you might be wondering what this photo of an automobile has to do with musical chairs. Well, it’s like this. Traveling to Scotland was a new experience in driving for me and my girlfriend. We are not used to the steering wheel on the right-hand side of the car, nor were we use to driving on the “wrong-side” of the road for us.
Nerve wracking to drive, but I think even more so to be the passenger sitting where I normally drive and nothing to grab or brakes to push! We played musical chairs – or drivers seats as we drove approximately 1100 miles all around the UK viewing all the sites on the very narrow back roads and byways. As much as I love that land, I don’t want to drive there anymore. And, I’m sure the locals are just as happy about that as I am.
A great interpretation of the theme! I’m sorry you didn’t like driving in England, it would be the same for me if I had to drive in another country….. I’m so used to driving on the left, I always get in the wrong side of the car when I have to drive abroad!
