Share Your World -Sep 3, 2018

When you are old, what do you think children will ask you to tell stories about?   If you are ‘old’ (a term with different meanings for everyone); what stories do you tell your grandchildren?

I am old.  🙂  And to tell the truth haven’t had much chance to tell my grandchildren any stories yet, but when I do I probably will tell them stories of our family history.  About our ancestors who came over and settled in the colonies, who got kidnapped by the natives and lived away from their colony.  I will tell them about the pirates and horse thieves about the teachers and kings in the family.  We come from quite a diverse heritage.

When did something start out badly for you but in the end, it was great?

Divorce was something that started out badly for me, but in the end was the best thing that ever happened to me.  It opened up a whole new world for me and I’ve really grown and prospered since.

What do you think you are much better at than you actually are?   Maybe this one’s kinda mean…thoughts?

Well, I’m a realist.  I know what I’m not really good at and unfortunately, it’s quite a few things.  I do a lot of things pretty good.  You might say I’m a “Jackie of all trades and master of none.”

What would be the worst thing to hear as you are going under anesthesia before surgery?

“Oopps!”

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?

Being able to visit the Denver Botanic Gardens, relax and enjoy the Japanese gardens.

I love you answer to the last question. (And that photo of the Botanic Gardens is gorgeous!)
