Self-sufficiency

Self-sufficiency has been extremely important in my life and is vital to my self-esteem. Knowing that in life you can only rely on yourself  because eventually your parents leave you, your family has a life of their own, and your friends have their own family to tend to. All this means, is that you need to be able to live your life as you see fit, without depending on anyone else to do what you need to do to achieve fulfillment, success and happiness.
