Preserving the Perfect Moments

Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge

After every trip, I like to sit down and go through my photos and there’s a lot.   I try to organize them, Some I use here on my blog, some I print, but I am fast running out of wall space, but I’ve found a way to work around that too.  🙂    Eventually, I’m hoping to sell some of my photos and I am seeing my photography improve over the years.  But in the meantime, I like to journal my travels.  I used to scrapbook, but that just got too time consuming and expensive and then I decided to preserve the perfect moments of my travels in hardbound books.  I try to keep them at 20 pages, sometimes I go over but if I’m creative with my page layouts, I can keep it close.   Having a hardbound book, I can have it on my coffee table to remind me of my adventures and also to show my friends and family.  I do believe it has inspired others to travel to those places and keep similar journals too.

That’s a very good way to condense the travel photos and thoughts – ie into a hardbound book. We started out thinking keeping it online or in electronic copy would be better, but you have to turn on the device to read and sharing can be hard unless it is on the web…so a hardbound book is still very practical.
