Am I the only weird person that sees the world in textures, contrast, rough and smooth? I walk along the path and see these mundane things in life and have to stop and take a photo. I’m sure people wonder just what the heck is that woman taking a picture of today.

It happens! I’ve gotten the weirdest looks when stopping to take photos of a piece of wall or a rock, BUT it’s so worth it! I love to look at the details afterwards 🙂

Most folk think I’m crackers when I have to stop an take a photo of the oddest of things. They think I’m even weirder when they see me go into raptures over texture and contrast. Fabulous shot, I’d havebeen in raptures over that one 🙂

When my kids were little I would get down on the ground and call it belly botany. My kids are long time grown with children of their own, but I still do belly botany to get just the right photo. I know I look weird to people. I just let them wonder. 🙂
