The Gift from a Stranger

Today as I  was exploring another park in my neighborhood, Chatfield State Park,  I stopped above the dam to take a panoramic picture of the reservoir, fall foliage and mountains.  As I was headed back to my car a bicyclist struck up a conversation about the beautiful day and the hawks taking advantage of the currents in the air.  As I was about to leave he leaned down to pick these flowers and handed them to me and said thank you for making his day.  He made mine, I haven’t had a man give me any flowers in forever.
