Congratulations! as far as i can tell you are spot on – Bachelor’s Button or Cornflower, sometimes Knapweed from the centaurea genus of the asteracea family, which includes daisies (see my fotd Sept 11 😉 )
I could not find a better example than your picture anywhere on Google, although your flower is not quite ‘typical’ of a normal bloom.
