A real blooming onion

365 Project A Photo a Day – Blooming Onion

Flower of the Day – May 25, 2018 – Blooming Onion

I don’t have much of a vegetable garden, just some lemon balm that kind of took over, some sage. and my Grandmother’s onions.  When my grandmother was alive she had a bunch of onions that she harvested from her country farm in Oklahoma and moved them to the city to her little trailer when my grandfather died.  On one visit, she gave me some of these onions and I planted them at my house in Maryland.  When I moved to Colorado I brought some with me.  They are the one plant that continues to grow at my house, no matter how badly I neglect them.   I just let them grow wild, a little like me.
