Share Your World – March 26, 2018

What is your favorite color of hair? You can name your hair color or a color that you just like.

Mmmm.  I was born with dark brown hair but went white early in my life, I was totally white in my 20’s so started to color it.   I have had black, brown, and auburn hair.  Since I have had my current color I have played with pink and lavender and other different colors.  I think my favorite color is just like it is.  I call it “platinum blonde”  and it’s totally natural.  🙂

List at least 5 things that you are good at.

I’m pretty good at a couple of things, but if I had to choose maybe I can be a little less technical this time.

  1.  I am good at reading people, their intentions and beyond their facade
  2. I am good at prognostication
  3. I am good at seeing the beauty where many miss it
  4. I am good at appreciating solitude
  5. I am good at taking care of my self ( that was a hard one to learn.)

What is your favorite animal or type of animal? (pets, dolphins, stuffed, wild cats, etc)

Really, need you ask… How many more pics of Oberon and my sweet dogs do you need to see?  LOL

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?

The March for Our Lives event this weekend made me smile, cry and appreciate the intelligence of the younger generation.  The ability to speak in front of tens of thousands of people so articulately and intelligently with such passion this weekend gave me hope that there is a change in our future coming. These kids have demonstrated leadership beyond their years and I am anxious to follow their lives and see them grow further into their roles.  I see several of these young adults will become great leaders of this nation and feel that this weekend was as important and historic event as the Civil Rights and Vietnam movement during my youth.

Lucky you! I pay someone big bucks to go light, Frick, you’d think I was paying them to save my life or something!
And good for you! For some of us, taking care of and being kind to ourselves is a skill we have to learn.
Thank you so much for sharing.
