What did you or did not like about the first place you lived without your parents?
The first place I lived in without my parents was the first apartment I had with my new husband when I was 20 years old. I moved from Mom and Dad to husband, no time on my own. This apartment was horrible! Cockroaches everywhere, so many I lost count and didn’t even want to sleep in the place. We finally got rid of them but maybe it was indicative of the “roach” I married. 😉
What is your most favorite smell/scent?
One of the first gifts ever given me was a perfume called “Bellodgia”. It was given to me by a sailor during Vietnam and I kept that little bottle forever. I finally found the perfume again while I was in Paris and bought another bottle. I think that is my favorite fragrance.
Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why?
I do not prefer snowy winters. For one, I like the sun, the heat and getting outside. Snow and cold don’t agree with me. It hurts my breathing, I get sick and the cold literally hurts my body. Fortunately, Colorado is not as cold and snowy as most people would think and I can tolerate the winters here.
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?
I saw Trevor Noah for my birthday on Saturday. It was the most that I have smiled and laughed in years. Although he is a political satirist and on the Daily Show, he found humor in his life, his childhood, his mother, music and just the observation of people in general. I would say if you ever get the chance to see him, it is well worth the money and time.
Good to see you smiling 😀 😀

I’ve been sick as a dog since my birthday, but rested up, medicated, took lots of cough drops and went to the show despite it all, It was worth it. 🙂
