Share Your World – February 5, 2018

What would be your ideal fantasy way to spend Monday?

This is a difficult question.  I really don’t fantasize, I usually just do.  I suppose if I wanted to do anything besides go to work on a Monday, I would be somewhere warm and tropical with someone that I’m madly, passionately in love with and just enjoying the moments together.

What one person that you are out of contact with would you like to say thank you to? 

I suppose it would be my Mom.  We never got along while I was growing up, but finally got on the same wavelength about 5 years before she died.  I think she was very influential for my artistic abilities and “eye” for beauty.  She taught art while I was a child and I never thought that I  had any artistic talent while she was alive.  It seems I have more in common with her than I ever imagined and I really thank her for what she imbued in me as a child, whether I knew it at the time or not.

List your favorite toys or games as a kid.

When I was a very small child I remember my favorite toy was a pink stuffed elephant, named Elly, but as I grew older I didn’t really have any other “toys” as favorites.  I did play “cowboys and Indians” with the local boys in the neighborhood or spy games.  I always took the role of the “Indian” or the “spy”  – the underdog.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? 

I have to admit, the response I got for my lunar eclipse on the 52 Frames Photographers Facebook page made me smile.  So far I got 236 likes and quite a few favorable comments helped make my week.
