Today’s Affirmation

I don’t believe that if you do good, good things will happen. Everything is completely accidental and random. Sometimes bad things happen to very good people and sometimes good things happen to bad people. But at least if you try to do good things, then you’re spending your time doing something worthwhile.

    I think she’s right. That’s one of the reasons I have always hated the saying, “what goes around comes around.” I know I haven’t done such horrible things as to deserved a lot of the things that have happened to me and I know a lot of people who do horrible things and never “pay” for them, enjoying many good things. So I think she’s right.
