Share Your World – January 1, 2018

What one word describes you best? 

Independent – I think this really does describe me well. It’s how I’ve lived my life since I was 14 and only have grown more independent each day.  I know that whatever comes my way, I can handle it, however, there are times, that I wish I didn’t have to do it alone.

What is set as the background on your computer?

I just set the banner of my website, the red flower garden, as my background yesterday.

If you have been to a foreign country name those you have been too? 

Yes, I have had the good fortune to be able to travel to several foreign countries.  It all started in my 20’s when I backpacked from Heidelberg to Amsterdam.  That just wetted my appetite to see more. Then finally being able to travel again on my 60th birthday to Scotland.  Since then I have been to Ireland, England, Italy, Turkey and most recently Greece. What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? 

I appreciated the break from work and tomorrow I have to go back to being an “Adult” Here is my countdown calendar to Retirement! Not that I’m counting or anything.
