What is the most famous landmark or building you have ever seen?

Acropolis
I have seen quite a few, the Eiffel Tower, the pyramids of the Louvre, Edinburgh Castle, the Roman Collesium, Tower Bridge in London, the white cliffs of Dover and the Statue of Liberty. The most recent, however, was the Parthenon in Athens. I love history.
Do you like a long vacation or lots of mini-vacations?
I love long vacations of about 2 weeks, it takes me at least a week to get comfortable and to know the city I’m in. I like small vacations too, but once they are over, I really don’t feel relaxed afterward.
What is your favorite natural or state park?
I’m not one that usually has favorites of anything. I have been to Yellowstone and many others, but there are so many others I haven’t been to yet. I’d love to go to some of those that Cee has been. I think I just don’t have enough time in the day anymore. Also since I live alone and have a difficult time driving distances, doing road trips alone is out for me. I need to find another way or driving partner. LOL
What is your fantasy vacation?
When I was a little girl I saw a beautiful flower in a magazine about Tahiti. Back then I didn’t know it was a hibiscus.
I cut the picture out and pinned it to my bulletin board. There it stayed until I left home. I always wanted to go to Tahiti and haven’t been there yet.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week I got my new macro lens for my camera and I haven’t yet been able to play with it, so hopefully, this upcoming week will give me some energy to get out and play. Believe it or not, I’m looking forward to going to a SharePoint conference this upcoming week, which means I don’t have to go into the office and means I’ll also have some opportunities to get some pictures downtown Denver.
I think it is time for your to go to Tahiti. I think it was cool you kept that hibiscus photo for years.
