Broken Tulip but Still Beautiful

Flower of the Day – May 3

I discovered this drooping tulip in my garden this morning. The recent seven inches of snow we experienced this last Sunday here in Colorado managed to break one of my new tulips from its stem.    It just goes to show you that although we may be broken we are still beautiful and no one can see our flaws, so we should always be proud of who and what we are.

  1. Do you take pictures in your garden most days? That sounds like a wonderful habit. And they are incredibly beautiful. The top one, Wow, just Wow. (Mother Nature sure has an eye, no?)

    • I try . But truthfully i have a brown thumb, so only plant things that can survive on their own without my intervention. Othertimes, i take pictures of flowers whereever i find them, on walks, in my travels, at the botanic gardens, even the markets.
