Does your first or middle name have any significance (or were you named after another family member)?
No, my middle name has no significance at all. I think Mom, felt left out because she didn’t have a middle name, her name was Lotus and gave me the middle name of Lee. At least it began with the L of her first name. Maybe that’s what she was thinking. 🙂
Music or silence while working?
As one of my favorite songs would say:
Hello darkness, my old friend
I’ve come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Within the sound of silence
In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
‘Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence
And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence
“Fools” said I
“You do not know, silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you”
But my words like silent raindrops fell
In the wells of silence
I concentrate better in the silence
If you had a special place for your three most special possessions (not including photos, electronics, people or animals), what would they be?
I don’t quite understand this question. A special place or the 3 things that have a special place in my heart? or the three possessions that hold a special place in my life. I will pick the three possessions ( other than photos, electronics, and animals) that are special in my life. I would say, my bed, I love my bed, my little car, and my hot tub. I get a LOT of enjoyment out of all of these things,
The Never List: What are things you know you never will do?
Things I know I will NEVER do. I will NEVER GET MARRIED AGAIN!
That doesn’t mean I don’t want a relationship, I just don’t want to be married. I don’t think at my age its necessary anymore. I do believe in love, I believe in monogamy, it just hasn’t been my good fortune to find it yet.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week: I’m grateful it was quiet, no drama, no problems, nothing happened. I needed that.
Next week!!! Big Week! New opportunities, a new adventure, new photo opportunities, ruins. Athens. I’m excited.
