What is the most incredible natural venue that you’ve ever seen in person?

I love sunrises, sunsets, and clouds.  I’ve seen the majesty of the Rocky Mountains and Garden of the Gods.  I have not yet visited the Grand Canyon or some of the wonders of Arizona.  So, the most unique incredible natural venue was my underwater adventure in Cozumel.

How many siblings do you have? What’s your birth order? 

I have one younger brother, I guess that makes me #1!

If you were a shoe, what kind would you be and why?

My favorite color is black, but I admit I do like shoes.  So here are a couple photos of my shoes that I think would best represent what kind of shoe I’d like to be.  Bright, cheery and colorful.  I think they are artistic, something I strive to be.  But of these four shoes, I think the one that really represents me, is the white floral espadrille,  it’s retro and reminds me of the 1940’s era.

What is the strangest/weirdest thing you have ever eaten?

One early morning, a young Vietnamese co-worker was snacking on something that looked very interesting.  I had no idea what it was.  Her English wasn’t that good and her accent was very strong; when she offered me something “sweet“ to eat, I said “ok”.  I’ll try anything different.

Well, that “sweet”  wasn’t sweet and I just about lost it after the first bite.  It was raw
“squid”.  Not my choice for breakfast.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?  

What I’m grateful for this week?  The puppy (Oberon the Destroyer) didn’t get hold of any of my shoes and destroy them.

I’m looking forward to payday this week, but also to trying to renew a friendship that being in a depression over these last few months has had me wondering if it was worth keeping.
