The Doors to Roslyn Chapel

Norm 2.0  –  Thursday Doors 

To walk through these doors you find yourself in awe of the place.  I found it profound to sit within these walls, seeing how people from bygone days got the word of Christ through the sculptures on the walls and ceilings. I remembered Dan Brown’s book, the DaVinci Code and looked for the stairs down to the graves below.  I have visited this place twice now, once while it had the shell of protection over it while they were preserving the ancient stone of the chapel and this time I was lucky enough to see it in all it’s splendor, all the scaffolding gone.
