It starts with one…

Macrolens-snowflake-20170104_143513.jpg

Denver is having another snowstorm today, but as it began yesterday I managed to capture this one little snowflake on my spangly, black metallic Miata car roof with my Samsung 7 Edge.  Yes, I had a little help, I used a macro lens that was included with a set of lenses that I purchased from Wal-Mart for only $6.00.   Interesting result for this experiment.

I discovered it takes a special kind of snow to catch a flake and landing on my already car roof was perfect. This was a first for me, so I will be practicing more. Thanks for the encouragement.

You should try different textures perhaps jeans, animal fur, money, flowers. I love experimenting with my lens

I am, I did cookies. But wind up taking more pictures of butterflies and flowers than anything else. LOL

Ooo butterflies would be amazing! I definitely need to get mine back out and start capturing different things. I did ants once that was pretty neat

I’m finally getting around to getting my submenus together with the categories, so the butterflies and macro photos are there. Take a look. Most I did not use a macro lens.

Wow! I only saw snowflakes like this one from nature channels or something like that. You actually shot one. That’s wonderful!
