Long before I ever considered making photography a “retirement career”, I would take random pictures of anything and everything. Not really caring if I paid attention to ISO or shutter speed. Also when I took this picture I had cataracts, I couldn’t tell if something was clear or not. It was pure chance if a photo came out in focus. But the sheer pleasure of capturing the memory was enough. I never knew that one day I would be able to see clearly again. Praise the heavens for cataract surgery and toric lenses now, vision is better than I’ve ever had and now no more glasses in my future.
So… enough back story on old photos that aren’t as in focus as I’d like or as good as I’d like. San Diego was wonderful, exotic flowers right outside my Bed and Breakfast, waking up to the sound of parrots flying over. I tried to catch a photo of them, but couldn’t see them to do so, so this is the flower outside my window.

Beautiful. Taking after Judy from Lifelessons. 😀
