Exploring the sights and sounds to move the soul

When I travel I enjoy imagining walking in the footsteps of the previous occupants of certain places, imagining what they were going through, imagining their lives and times.  On this rainy day on the grounds of Melrose Abbey in the UK you can just feel the spirits with you. Although the doors have long been gone, the doorways they passed through still remain and give you a glimpse of what they saw passing through them. Imagine if you will.
