Daily Prompt-Someday

Someday–I used to think that way. A long time ago, when I was young and foolish. I lived for someday. Someday never came and left me feeling hopeless, desolate and lonely.

Through the hard times I learned that the day you live for is today, this is the day, the someday that counts, the day that is now.  You live fully in the moment and not wait for someday to do something.  If you truly desire that dessert, have it.  If you want to travel, do it now while you can, because we cannot know what the future will bring.  Love that someone that you want now, that someone who offers you love back, do not wait for that someday when your prince will come and deny yourself the happiness that is possible now.

Yes, we can plan for things, but we cannot put off our adventures and life for someday. WE make our changes today for tomorrow, but it is today that is important and our time is important. We need to realize where our priorities lie.  Not someday, but now.
