A class you wish you would have taken?
Actually, I can’t think of a class I wish I would have taken. If I wanted to take a class I found a way to take it. I think that is why I’ve done so many things and tried to learn as much as I could. When I didn’t take classes, I read books.
However, if you ask me if there was a career path I wish I would have taken, I would say yes. I think I should have joined the Air Force instead of going directly into college. I think I would have seen a whole new world and taken a totally different direction in my life.
Are you scared of heights?
Absolutely, not. I don’t have much I’m scared of these days. I am cautious around stairs, have fallen down too many, don’t like tornadoes, been in too many as a child. and avoid conflicts. But not scared of much.
Are you a good cook? If so, do you consider yourself a chef?
Let’s put it this way, I used to be a good cook. I really don’t like to cook just for myself, so don’t. I prefer enjoying the cuisine of others.
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?
I finally got all the invasive lemon balm out of my back garden this week and finished planting the perennials that will hopefully make up a very nice cottage garden for me to enjoy in the coming years. Afterward, I sat on the deck swing, enjoying the view and Oberon came up to join me and laid his head on my lap. How could you not smile with that ending to the day?
Your yard looks beautiful. Thanks Candy for sharing this week. 😀

Thanks, I’m not much of a gardener but photographing all these beautiful flowers and joining the Denver Botanical Gatdens has inspired me.😁

Your chef answer sounds perfect. Doesn’t food always taste better when someone cooks it for us?

I’m sure you put a lot of wonderful jewelry into the world, Candace! It is nice to think of people wearing or displaying something one made. My baby name pictures are still being hung after hundreds of gifts of these. My youngest daughter’s friends have hung their own baby names I gave their mothers on the walls with the new babies’ picture names. I used to serl only a few, it meant more to give them away. Tumbling tots and toddler reading program at library was where I would meet the uniquely named children. Felicia, my youngest , was only recently able to find her own name printed on a mug. 🌼💞
