Sugar's Dog Blog

October 30, 2004 - Saturday

Yes, it's been a long time since I've been able to add anything, but a lot has happened. Last weekend Mom took her training to join the R.E.A.D. program with me. Now she has to take her test. So we can go.

Today, I got to go visit at the hospital. I felt really good when a lady said she really needed a doggy hug. I think it felt really good for her too.

Today was also the Howl-o-ween party at the pet store. There were lots of neat costumes. But the winner of the best costume award was a dog dressed up like an aviator and was wearing an airplane. I have some pictures in my scrapbook finally, so take a look.

Mom dressed me up as Minnie Mouse and Chloe went with me, dressed as a bumblebee. We got some goody bags and had lots of fun.

OH!!!! I just got my new working clothes from Delta Society yesterday, so take a look at me in my new vest too.!

October 13, 2004

Well, yesterday I got my confirmation and registration id number for the Delta Society, so now's it's official. Yea! I even have a Press Release to share. You need Adobe Acrobat Read to read it and here's the link to download that software if you don't already have it. Mom also ordered my green vest today, too. I'm looking forward to getting my new clothes.

October 2, 2004- Saturday

Today Mom and I got to go to a Denver Pet Partners meeting. Lisa Knowles talked about making animals lives the best it could be. She talked about how to help us have fun and enjoy life. Lisa is also a trainer and she's going to meet Hunter next week. Maybe she can teach Hunter some manners.

We also got to meet some Emergency room technicians that talked about dogs donating blood. Did you know that dogs only have 2 blood types? A positive and A negative? I didn't know that. I also didn't know that you couldn't have had puppies to donate blood and Mom didn't know whether I've ever had puppies or not so I wasn't eligible to donate.
